R-Studio is a powerful data recovery application that allows you to recover any type of data lost due to viruses, operating system crashes or hardware failures. It supports HFS/HFS+ (Mac), FAT/NTFS (Windows), UFS1/UFS2 (Unix), Ext2FS/3FS (Linux) file systems and can retrieve files on local and network disks, even if partitions are damaged, deleted or formatted. Thanks to the new additional file recovery algorithm, it has the ability to recover even more files, even those not recognized in file system metadata. It also has the ability to recover compressed files, encrypted files, dynamic disk, and RAID. You can create image files for an entire or part of a hard disk or partition and then compress or split it to fit a CD/DVD/Flash or FAT16/FAT32. The interface is very simple and intuitive, similar to Windows Explorer. The hex editor has been enhanced, now allowing to show files as ANSI or UNICODE text.
This version is no longer available for download, but here you can get the demo of the latest one, which allows you to recover files of less than 64 kB.
